Refund policy

RETURNS - Please email us at contact@originativeco.com with your name, order number and problem before sending back your products. All returns must be made within 30 days of you order's shipping date. Items must be in its original unopened packaging and in new, unused condition. Certain items, but not limited to, such as switch springs, switches and lube may not be returned. The return package must also include the packing slip/invoice included with your shipment. Shipping costs will not be covered and will not be refunded. You are responsible for the cost of shipping.

Missing or Incorrect Items - We will replace any missing/incorrect items and the cost of shipping/handling if the missing/incorrect item is due to our error. Please email us with details of the order (with your name and order number) within 30 days of your order's shipping date, so we can assist you promptly. We are not responsible for any customer mistakes during the ordering process and for any missing/incorrect keys after 30 days of your order's ship date.

Final sale items are not eligible for returns/exchanges. This will be indicated on the items' product page. All TypeMachina custom keyboards and accessories are final sale unless stated otherwise.

CANCELLATIONS USING PAYPAL - As of October 2019, Paypal has modified their refund policy. For cancellations/refunds of orders, Paypal will no longer refund the initial fees (4.5% of order total). If you place an order and change your mind at no fault of Originative, your refund will be the total minus 4.5% of the order total. This rate will vary for international orders. To avoid this fee, store credit can be issued for the full amount instead. Please double check all items before making your purchase.

For cancellations/refunds of orders using any credit cards, the 3% fee taken out of the transaction will no longer be refunded. If you place an order and change your mind at no fault of Originative, your refund will be the total minus 3% of the order total. To avoid this fee, store credit can be issued for the full amount instead. Please double check all items before making your purchase.
